It all started when she went to their residence-slash-tourist inn in Palawan upon receiving a tip that her daughter was spotted there. And just the thought of it irritated her, which she heaped towards Police Officer Oscar Jimenez (Eric Fructuoso)—who was in charge of Grace’s case—when he appeared at her house to inform her that they had already captured Chito. She further got disgruntled upon learning that he had betrayed her by telling the police that she abused Grace, which prompted them to conclude that she might have murdered her and whatever they’d been doing was pointless.Out of her desperation to convince Anna to finally come out from hiding, Sarah managed to fool her by telling her that she would let her and Grace be. However, it was revealed later on that she just did it so that it would be easy for her to make her fall into her lair and to report her to the police. This resulted in a scorching confrontation between them when they bumped into each other again. Sarah then wasn’t able to keep herself from turning emotional while being interviewed by Ashley (Aya Fernandez) on live television as they continued to tackle the ongoing search for Grace and her alleged abductor, Anna. She was on the verge of telling the public what the two of them had learned about the real connection of Miranda (Sharon Cuneta) to Anna, but Ashley stopped her as per the management’s order, which absolutely enraged Sarah.
