Shuvee shares dreams for her family, reveals how Ashley helped her realize her love languages

As many ardent viewers of “<a href="http://pbb.abs-cbn.com">Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity  Collab Edition</a>”  have grown fond of Shuvee Etrata in the two months that she was inside the house, her unexpected exit during the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/6/14/from-heart-to-heartbreak-more-houseguests-arrive-shukla-says-goodbye-on-pbb-collab-0208">6th eviction night</a> held last June 14 indeed hit her and her duo partner Klarisse de Guzman’s supporters really hard. Since they’ve gone on to become among the favorite individual housemates and tandems in this edition, it absolutely came as a shock when they were declared as the latest evictees after only garnering 31.50% of the total votes—the lowest among the latest set of nominees.  While we’ve surely learned a lot about Shuvee during her stay, there are still things that we have yet to discover about her, among them she willingly revealed as she enthusiastically took on tne “Random Questions Challenge.”<div><iframe width="1265" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6vgM2TVtfGs" title="Random Question Challenge with Shuvee Etrata | Pinoy Big Brother Collab" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>Not a lot of people know, but she is actually besties with fellow Kapuso actress and “PBB Collab” ex-housemate Ashley Ortega. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to see them bond inside the house since Ashley was already eliminated when Shuvee entered the house. But we know that the latter is such a loyal best friend because when asked who the celebrity she wishes to be BFFs with is, she said that she’s already content with her friendship with Ashley, adding that she’d rather keep her circle small and it is definitely quality over quantity for her.  They may not have the opportunity to stay inside Bahay ni Kuya together, but Shuvee and Ashley are already housemates even before “PBB” since they’ve been living in one condominium for months now. Thus, a certified “NBSB,”  or “no boyfriend since birth,” it was through living with Ashley that she was able to figure out how she is when it comes to relationships and what her love languages could be.  After assuming for a very long time that she’s an alpha female since she is an independent young woman, she discovered that she’s actually submissive and would like to be led by her partner. She thinks that her love languages are possibly quality time and words of affirmation.  Aside from being a good and loyal friend, she wouldn’t be called the “Island Ate ng Cebu” if she weren’t an admirable sister and daughter to her family. And we’re able to see it not only through the stories that she shared inside Bahay ni Kuya but also via her responses when asked for her three wishes that she yearns to be fulfilled.  For her three wishes, it would be to be able to give her family their own house since they’ve been living at her grandma’s residence, to send all her eight siblings to school until they finish their studies, and to travel with her family outside the Philippines because she wants her siblings to experience it.  While most of her dreams are for her family since she’s such a family-oriented woman, Shuvee still has personal desires that she hopes to accomplish. Just like many of us, it has also been her ambition to set her foot in the picturesque country of Switzerland. Even though she seems to have acrophobia, or fear of heights, she still wants to try skydiving and bungee jumping. And lastly, she’s wishful to have her own family that she has always dreamed of.  Many are also able to relate to her when she disclosed that her form of relaxation is sleep, as she implied being deprived of sleep ever since becoming a celebrity. Her being simple and probinsyana was further exposed when she mentioned mongo as the food that she can eat every day without getting umay or tired of it. Speaking of food, she said that she would rather cook if ever she has ample time to prepare when asked to pick between ordering online or dining out. However, she would be left with no choice but to order food if she’s in the middle of taping.  Another sign of her simplicity is her desire to travel back to the times when life was slow-paced and free from social media, as well as panliligaw, or courtship, being treasured or given so much importance.  Furthermore, when quizzed about the one item she never misses to bring wherever she goes aside from her cellphone, it’s none other than her lipstick or lip balm, as she tends to be conscious of her two-toned lips.Ultimately, apart from her entrancing beauty and adorable personality, another thing that we love so much about her is her wit, which we’ve seen not just inside the house but also in how she answered when asked about her definition of success.  “Success for me is when you get to be yourself without thinking or compromising what you really want and without really thinking of others and not letting them change who you are as a person. It’s just you and your decision that takes it all,” she said and added that it’s because she is strong, independent, and real. Keep on shining and soaring, Shuvee!
