In her almost decade-long career in the local entertainment scene, Mary Joy “Majoy” Apsotol has already showcased her caliber and versatility as an actress through the films and series that she has starred in. From usually charming us as the sidekick of lead actresses, the Kapamilya star is able to prove that she can definitely slay as a kontrabida as well, via her stint as Princess in the well-liked series “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/savinggrace">Saving Grace: The Untold Story.</a> “In fact, she’s been too good at portraying her character, to the point that many viewers have expressed their exasperation against Princess for all the nasty remarks and deeds that she has said and done towards Anna, compellingly depicted by seasoned young actress Julia Montes. And in this episode of Kapamilya Toplist, let us revisit the 10 scenes from “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/savinggrace">Saving Grace</a>” that not only display the impressive acting chops of Majoy as an antagonist but also the burning rage of her character, Princess, against Anna.  Those who have been regularly watching the primetime teleserye would probably know that Princess has a long-running rage against her half-sister, which all started when their father died due to an accident and they all blamed it on her. Princess was too furious at Anna, to the extent that she embarrassed her not just in front of their family but also of the family of her fiancé, Wilson (Emilio Daez), who happened to be the cousin of Anna’s ex-flame Julius (Sam Milby).  Since she was really eager to get rid of her as soon as possible, Princess came to Anna’s accommodation to offer her the money that she needed or she’d been asking from their mom, Helena (Janice de Belen). But she only got more furious upon discovering her sister’s secret: she had been keeping a child whom she initially introduced as her own.  Due to the extreme stress that she’d gone through because of the mess brought by Anna and her ward, Bright, a.k.a. Grace (Zia Grace), Princess lost her and Wilson’s child after suffering from a miscarriage. Of course, this made Princess even more furious against Anna, which resulted in a series of scorching quarrels between them.  In one instance, their spat was so intense that Anna was compelled to spill the truth that their parents had hidden from them—that she was only adopted by them. This enraged Princess, as it made her feel that all the troubles their family got into were caused by someone who isn’t actually a real member of their family.  Princess’ rage against Anna further escalated when their mom, Helena (Janice de Belen), decided to sell their inn and gave a portion of the money to Anna to help her get out of trouble. As she felt that Helena had always favored Anna, the words that she’d apparently been yearning to convey finally came out of her mouth, “Hanggang kailan kami mag-aadjust ni Erin para sa kanya, ‘Nay? Kailan n’yo uunahin ang kapakanan namin?”  A heated argument then ignited between her and their youngest sister Erin (Sophia Reola), as the latter defended Anna from the foul comments of Princess. Erin gave Princess some “real talk” about her deep-seated anger against Anna ever since they were younger and even before their father died. She recalled how Princess had been envious of the attention and affection that Anna got from their dad, as well as how Princess would always talk ill of Anna to make her appear the bad person. Princess was so furious at Anna that she attempted to betray her by coordinating with Sarah (Jennica Garcia), the real mother of Grace, and the authorities not just once but twice. She initially tipped Sarah off regarding the whereabouts of Anna when they were still in Palawan, which got foiled after Helena hindered her. While in another instance, she used their mom as bait to compel Anna to go to the hospital where Sarah and the police were waiting.  Another scorching altercation sparked among their family, in which Erin revealed the truth behind the tragedy that forever haunted their family. Is there still a chance for Majoy Apostol’s character, Princess, to have a change of heart towards Anna after knowing the truth behind their father’s tragic death?
