7 funny interactions of Kuya with his housemates, houseguests on PBB in recent years

<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17490853317417-funny-interactions-of-Kuya-with-his-housemates,-houseguests-on-PBB-in-recent-years.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Over the past 20 years, “Pinoy Big Brother” has indeed made both our television and online viewing habits truly enjoyable—and sometimes heartwarming—through its episodes that provide us glimpses into the lives of the housemates while inside the famous yellow and blue house. </p><p>While we’re surely excited to witness the housemates’ <em>kulitan</em> and <em>iyakan </em>moments together, as well as their sincere conversations, joyous celebrations, and team and individual efforts in every task, there were instances when we looked forward to the housemates’ interactions with Kuya inside the confession room. </p><p>We may often see the housemates weep or go somber as they speak and listen to him, but there were times when Big Brother joined them in their shenanigans, pulled pranks on them, or bantered with them, just like what he did in the clips that we had collated in this edition of Kapamilya Update. </p><div> </div><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FABSCBNnetwork%2Fvideos%2F1227790012147356%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=476&amp;t=0" width="476" height="476" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div> </div><p>Let us begin with Kuya’s hilarious interactions with the housemates of the ongoing <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab"><strong><u>“PBB Celebrity Collab Edition.”</u></strong></a> First was when he invited Shuvee Etrata, Bianca de Vera, Esnyr Ranollo, Brent Manalo, Will Ashley, and Klarisse de Guzman to the confession room—a.k.a. the “Bahaw Gang,” who were “guilty” of eating a lot when their houseguest Jane de Leon cooked chicken wings for them. While they were nervous at first for being summoned by him out of the blue, all of them were completely relieved and burst into laughter when Kuya finally revealed his reason for requesting their presence. </p><p>As Big Brother also asked Jane to come to the confession room, the housemates played along with Big Brother’s prank by acting as if they were dejected, which really got her anxious. He then gave them his signal to finally spill the truth, much to Jane’s relief and mirth. </p><p>In the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024"><strong><u>“PBB Gen 11”</u></strong></a> season, we witnessed how Kuya willingly joined in the prank being pulled by JM Ibarra on then-unsuspecting housemate JP Cabrera by telling him that Big Brother was requesting him to come to the confession room. It was indeed a success because not only Kuya cooperated with JM but also their other housemates Jarren Garcia, Binsoy Namocan, and Kolette Madelo, who refused to tell JP the truth. The “victim” only realized that he was just being played on when Kuya asked him why they came to the confession room and JM was also called to join them. </p><p>Going back to the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab"><strong><u>“PBB Collab,”</u></strong></a> Big Brother played along with Esnyr by really enumerating his “orders” after the latter greeted him with, “May I take your order?” Being the playful person that he is, Esnyr pretended to be a café staff member by punching in Kuya’s orders. As Esnyr attempted to throw pick-up lines at him, Kuya continued to play along, which made the former propose for them to become a loveteam. But Big Brother uttered, “Pass,” which “broke” the heart of Esnyr since it was equivalent to being “tropa-zoned” and made him decide to just look for other partners after Kuya told him that he had turned him into a housemate.</p><p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024"><strong><u>“PBB Gen 11”</u></strong></a> Big Winner Fyang Smith also had a freaky and funny moment inside the confession room when Big Brother scared her by making the lights flicker and the doorknob move, as well as playing random creepy sounds—which were all part of his “horror prank” for her. And he won again this time because we could really see the anxiousness and terror on Fyang’s face and in her actions. </p><p>Aside from providing advice and pep talks to and pulling pranks on his housemates, another thing that Kuya is good at is appreciating their beauty and the efforts they exerted in order to look better. </p><p>Just like what he did to Shuvee when he noticed that she was all glammed up one day even though she had nowhere to go but around the house, as well as how happy and kilig she was. Shuvee then eventually told him the real reason why she’s all dolled up, and it was because of her ultimate crush, Donny Pangilinan, who surprisingly arrived that day to begin his mission as their houseguest. She even ‘scolded’ Kuya for letting him in the house the very moment they had just gotten up from bed and ecstatically told him what made her fall in love with Donny. </p><p>Kuya did the same to Maymay Entrata in the “PBB Lucky 7” season  when he noticed that she put on make-up before taking on their task, which, according to her, was her preparation just in case her celebrity crush, Enrique Gil, arrived all of a sudden. But when Big Brother asked her again, Maymay said that it was part of her team’s strategy to distract the opponents with their beauty and went on to make cute faces.</p><p>And lastly, even the members of phenomenal Pinay pop group BINI, Stacey Sevilleja and Jhoanna Robles, weren’t able to escape Kuya’s pranks. She tricked them into thinking that only Stacey was allowed to go back to the outside world while Jhoanna had to stay and continue being a houseguest. They fell into it, with Jhoanna getting worried about their group’s upcoming schedules and making Stace promise to treat her with two orders of mozzarella sticks once she found out that she was lying. </p><p>Were you able to catch these hilarious interactions of Kuya with his housemates from different editions?
