She began to take Anna’s side, help her get away from everyone who had been searching for her, and provide everything that she and Grace needed while in hiding. </div>When asked by Anna why she’d been doing all of it, Miranda simply told her that it was just her way of expressing her apologies and resentment for the nasty things that she’d done and said to her. Anna accepted her “sorry,” allowed her to be embraced by her, and even thanked her.While Miranda was so eager to finally tell Anna the truth behind their real connection, Anna said in one of their conversations that she was actually not keen on finding out who her mother is after she decided to give her away. That absolutely hurt Miranda, especially when Anna compared her to Sarah and even said that she didn’t deserve to be called a mother.Miranda’s heart further shattered when Anna lashed out at her and accused her of being the mistress of her late father. This, of course, appalled Miranda, so she confronted Helena (Janice de Belen) for telling Anna lies while she opted to continue keeping the truth from her. However, just when she was about to spill the beans, Miranda suffered from a heart attack.They may not have known each other for a long time, yet Anna and Miranda had already confided to one another the loads that had been weighing them down. In one of their heartwarming exchanges, Miranda and Anna imparted their respective woeful stories as breadwinners, with the latter wishing that their families would eventually change for the better and both of them would finally feel the love that they’ve been yearning for.Miranda then couldn’t help but break down when she and Anna talked about her firstborn child.
