For a lot of fans, Xyriel Manabat and Vince Maristela’s stay inside Bahay Ni Kuya felt a little too short, like we were just starting to see their genuine personalities when the doors closed on their “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” journey. So Kapamilya Chat came up with the perfect game to get the stories we didn’t get to hear from them through “Untold Questions,” where Xyriel and Vince pick random queries from a stack of cards and answer them with all honesty and heart.

Xyriel radiated sincerity when she picked a card asking about the hardest thing she's been through that no one really knows about. She reflected on how easy it was for people to assume that she left showbiz a few years back just to focus on school. That was the version she let people believe and which she was comfortable sharing at the time. But during the “Untold Questions” challenge, she revealed that was only part of the story. She wanted to finish her studies first, but people didn’t know she had also dealt with personal struggles, from her mental health to family problems, financial pressure, and the process of truly knowing herself.

Prompted by her next card, Xyriel shared that saying yes to auditioning for "PBB Collab" was the best decision she's ever made  because of everything she had to push through just to make it happen, "Sobrang saya ko na nilaban ko talaga siya kahit sobrang gulo ng schedule, kahit sobrang hirap ipilit, talagang nilaban namin." She wouldn’t trade that decision for anything as it led to valuable relationships she formed inside the Big Brother house, "Pangarap ang pinasok ko doon, pero pamilya rin ang dala-dala ko paglabas ng bahay."

Meanwhile, Vince was asked what his past self might tell him if they ever meet, which he believes would be, “You did great.”  He went on to talk about one of the best lessons he picked up from Bahay Ni Kuya which is handling mistakes with a hopeful attitude. “It humbles you,” he said. “And it doesn’t define you. Life is all about learning, growing, and being resilient.

Vince was in cheerful spirits as he shared how happy he’s been feeling lately. "Surreal," as he puts it, prompting Xyriel to quip, "Manabat?" But seriously, he admitted that it feels like everything is slowly falling into place. "Nakaka-overwhelm talaga lahat ng nangyayari ngayon, but at the same time, parang meant to be," he mused. "Isa ako sa mga artistang nagsisimula, at feeling ko stepping stone 'yung PBB journey ko." But more than anything, he’s just grateful for his growth inside Kuya’s house and that he now gets to apply what he's learned in the outside world.

Xyriel and Vince definitely pulled the right cards that gave us a closer look at their thoughts and who they really are beyond the “PBB” house.
