As Arissa (Francine Diaz) leaves the Trinidad residence, she carries the burden of being blamed for what happened to her nephew, King (Clave Sun). She believes it&#x27;s unfair that Samuel (Gerald Anderson) is the only one facing the consequences of their father Mike Trinidad’s (John Arcilla) actions. Arissa feels it’s time for her to take responsibility as well.Johnny (RK Bagatsing) remains troubled by why the kidnapping case involving Samuel’s son was treated as a special operation and was classified as &#x27;top secret.&#x27; Now, Johnny can’t shake the feeling that this case might still be connected to Mike Trinidad’s (John Arcilla) “Yayaman Ako Investment Scam.” He’s left wondering what’s really going on with the Trinidad family.Samuel expresses deep gratitude to Agnes (Jessy Mendiola), telling her he owes his son’s life to her. He says she was the “angel” King (Clave Sun) was referring to—the one who saved him from Roldan’s (Joko Diaz) henchmen. Agnes recalls the time Samuel told her she could never understand him because she didn’t have a child. Gently, she clarifies that she does understand. “Lahat naman ng mga magulang, ang gusto ay maging ligtas ang anak nila,” she says. She shares that because of King, she was reminded why she continues to help Colonel Villanueva (Soliman Cruz) despite the dangers. Fighting back tears, Agnes admits that part of the reason she chooses this path is because it allows her to do something she was never able to do for her own child.When she asks why Samuel is still at Oriental Ridge Estates, she doesn’t get an answer—because Rebekkah (Malou Crisologo) enters the pantry and shows her a video of Johnny’s (RK Bagatsing) interview with the press. In the interview, Johnny proudly recounts how he rescued King, despite the child being the son of Samuel Trinidad, whom he labels a scammer. A reporter then asks for his reaction to being called a “protektor ng kriminal.” Johnny firmly responds that he doesn’t care. “Hindi kasalanan ng bata ang ginawa ng tatay niya at lolo niya,” he says. He adds that it’s their duty as police officers to protect innocent lives, and he gives his word that he will thoroughly investigate the case.While watching Johnny’s interview, Roldan (Joko Diaz) tells Jacob (JC de Vera) that they must not get caught—and that Johnny should never learn anything about what they do. As always, Jacob silently follows his brother’s command with a firm nod.  Jacob visits Samuel’s office and remarks on how tough he is for still showing up at work after everything that happened. Jacob questions if he truly knows who he’s dealing with. But Samuel stands his ground. “Para sa anak ko, para sa pamilya ko, wala akong kinakatakutan,” he declares. He calls the kidnappers cowards, adding, “Dahil mga duwag lang ang gumagalaw sa dilim.” Jacob stays silent, letting his clenched jaw speak volumes. Behind Samuel’s brave front, he fights back his anger—gripping a cutter in his hand as it trembles.At the coffee shop, Enzo expresses his concern to King and asks Arissa how he’s doing. Arissa simply replies that King is fine. Unsatisfied with her answer, Enzo presses further, asking if the kidnapping incident has anything to do with her father. Arissa responds passively, saying that even though her dad is gone, she still strongly feels his presence. “Alam mo, problema talaga ang mga tatay,” Enzo blurts out carelessly. Caught off guard by his remark, Arissa asks what he means and where that’s coming from. Enzo quickly brushes it off, telling her not to mind what he just said.Frustrated with Samuel, Jacob asks Roldan for permission to hurt Arissa, Samuel’s only sibling . But Roldan reminds him of their deal with Samuel—to never harm his family. Still, he firmly says he’d rather play dirty than pay the price. With authority, Roldan tells Jacob not to question his decision, pointing out that this major problem was caused by him. Rudy (JV Kapunan) feels a deep sense of guilt after learning what happened to Samuel’s son. He and his wife come to realize that the child and the rest of the family had nothing to do with the investment scam and shouldn’t be dragged into it. While looking at a post about King being rescued, they notice the house the Trinidads moved into. Alarmed, the tricycle driver rushes over to warn them that media attention and public outrage might bring trouble.Meanwhile, fueled by anger, other victims forcefully storm the Trinidad residence. Inside, a frightened Lolita (Lotlot de Leon) tightly holds King in her arms, trying to protect him as tension builds around them.Catch <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/sins-of-the-father">“Sins of the Father,”</a> airing on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), A2Z, TV5, <a href="https://app.iwanttfc.com/Mkr3OdLk6ab">iWant</a>, and TFC on weeknights at 9:30 pm.
