Fyang, JM deliver kilig, good vibes on the set of “Ghosting” as seen in these behind-the-scene snaps!

<p><em>“Ghosting.” </em>A relatively new slang term coined by Gen Zs, which pertains to the act of abruptly ceasing or abandoning communication with someone without any explanation. </p><p>While many of us dread being in this situation, it’s a totally different case for the ardent fans of Kapamilya loveteam and <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024"><u><strong>“Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11”</strong></u></a> alumni Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra, who have been so excited, happy, and proud for the two of them as they topbill their first-ever series entitled “Ghosting”. </p><p>In this romantic comedy supernatural series, Fyang plays the role of Jaja, a college student and content creator who retreats to her grandmother’s home in the province after being ghosted by her boyfriend, Vhal (Kobie Brown). Meanwhile, JM charms viewers as Wilberto, a mysterious lad who turns out to be a restless soul seeking the help of a clairvoyant, or someone who has the ability to see and sense things that other people cannot. Despite starting off on the wrong foot, an unlikely bond forms between Jaja and Wilberto, which eventually evolves into an unexpected romance “that blurs the line between the living and the dead.”</p><div><br/></div><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FABSCBNnetwork%2Fposts%2Fpfbid022M9aeYMFU4XggvBQwer6x2F8FXtLMY6aWQ4C83SGZqfdr6y9XhoF8XeGuJFNXAHol&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="716" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>The eight-episode original series streaming exclusively on iWant premiered last July 19, with not only the stars and the fans expressing their exhilaration about it, but also its director, prolific and esteemed filmmaker Theodore Boborol. On that day, he went to post not just to promote his latest project but also to share with everyone the gist of his journey in helming it by uploading a gallery of photos mostly captured on the set of “Ghosting” and attaching a lengthy caption to it. </p><p>Direk Ted began by describing the project as “an unexpected blessing” and conveying how “humbled and grateful” he is to be chosen to lead the production of what would become the first original series to be launched on the new and improved iWant streaming platform.</p><p>“To be honest, I was scared going into this. Supernatural stories aren’t exactly my comfort zone. Add to that the pressure of ushering PBB Gen 11’s phenomenal loveteam, JMFyang, into their acting era. There were challenges in the beginning, but once we found our rhythm, everything started to flow,” he confessed. </p><p>He went on to impart his experience working with the cast, starting with headliners Fyang and JM, who, according to him, “made the process worth it.” He commended their palpable chemistry and promising talent, which carried so much of the show. </p><p>Furthermore, he expressed how blessed he was to have a strong and effective ensemble with Vivoree, Kobie Brown, Gello Marquez, and Zach Guerrero, as well as how honored he was to work with veteran actresses Peewee O’Hara and Ces Quesada, who made him feel like he was taking up an acting masterclass on the set. He also didn’t forget mention some of the people behind the camera who indeed helped in making this project possible.</p><p>“Ghosting was a network assignment that slowly, beautifully became a labor of love. For ten days, we became a little family. JM kept it simple yet sweet by only putting “camera” and “eye” emojis on the caption along with hashtag “#Ghosting.” Nonetheless, the media he included were already enough to delight fans and viewers, as well as to excite them about what’s going to happen in the next episodes of “Ghosting”.  </p><p>Based on the photos shared by Direk Ted and JM, we can say that the cast and crew of the series get along well off-cam, as we get to spot photos and videos of them sharing a meal together, rehearsing and discussing the scenes, and doing random shenanigans on the set whenever the reels were not rolling. </p><p>As per the media release published by ABS-CBN on last July 19, “Ghosting” is one of the flagship titles of the newly revamped <a href="https://app.iwanttfc.com/dFR6MWHAcVb" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>iWant</u></strong></a>, which now features a more personalized and sleeker interface that places “Filipino feels” at the heart of streaming favorite shows, movies, and live content across all devices.
