With her irresistible charm and dulcet voice, it was indeed easy for “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/idol-kids-philippines" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Idol Kids Philippines</a>” top 3 grand finalist Quinn Holmes to captivate everyone’s heart and soul throughout her journey.In fact, during the auditions, she was able to immediately win over the superstar idol judges—Juan Karlos, Angeline Quinto, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Gary Valenciano—with her enchanting rendition of Moira Dela Torre’s “Kumpas.” She even had the chance to sing the song with her beloved dad, Bradley Holmes, who’s also a product of a reality singing contest of ABS-CBN and the current vocalist of OPM band Shamrock, in front of the judges, which further melted everyone’s heart.“My dream for joining ‘Idol Kids Philippines’ is to be a singer just like my parents. Because every time they sing, I feel very happy, and I want to copy them,” Quinn said when asked what motivated her to join the contest.With regard to the major change that happened to her after joining the competition, the 9-year-old promising singer imparted that it would be how people tend to already recognize her wherever she goes, as they would approach her and take pictures with her.According to her father, Quinn used to be a simple kid who always loved to play and go to school. But now, she has learned to be more cordial as people greet her and snap photos with her whenever they’re outside. Besides, being part of the contest has helped her improve as a singer, as well as becoming more disciplined as a child, for she developed the habit of sleeping early and drinking plenty of water.Aside from being her inspiration in becoming a singer, Quinn was also grateful to her parents for unwaveringly supporting and accompanying her throughout her “Idol Kids Philippines” journey. Thus, she dedicated her performance of Ben &amp; Ben’s “Araw-Araw” during the first round of the second night of “The Final Showdown” to them.
