In the August 29 and September 1 episodes of “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/sins-of-the-father" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Sins of the Father</a>,” we watched the main character, Samuel Trinidad (Gerald Anderson), courageously take on the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/8/29/sins-of-the-father-roldan-at-jacob-inilatag-ang-kanilang-huling-hamon-kay-samuel-episode-50-2158" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">highly dangerous challenge of scheming Rivera brothers, Roldan (Joko Diaz) and Jacob (JC de Vera)</a> —which was for him to fight their 100 goons and see if he would make it out alive. This was even after <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/8/29/sins-of-the-father-jacob-at-roldan-nagalak-nang-makuha-na-ang-pera-mula-kay-samuel-episode-50-2207" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">he had already given them the seed phrases or passcodes</a> to the crypto account where his late father, Mike Trinidad (John Arcilla), kept all the money they had accumulated from the people they mercilessly scammed, as well as to the other crypto wallets that he had created. While they told Samuel that it’s part of his initiation rites as a new member of the group, it was really their way of retaliating at him after he attempted to expose them to the public as the real masterminds behind the Yayaman Tayo Investment Fund.
