“ASAP” highlights musical legacies with Iza, Billy and the SexBomb Girls, with Moira and Rufa Mae delivering extra good vibes

<p>It’s already the second Sunday of 2026, and “<a href="http://asap.abs-cbn.com"><strong><u>ASAP</u></strong></a>” continues to kick off the year with unforgettable performances from veteran and rising Kapamilya stars, made even more special by heartwarming reunions that bring smiles from audiences and mentors alike. </p><p>First on the star-studded lineup, returning from his successful career in France, is international Pinoy artist sensation and OG “ASAP Kanto Boy” Billy Crawford. He showcased his charisma while moving to the rhythm of Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.”  </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Phqo-ck9hxE" title="ASAP&#x27;s Kanto Boy Billy Crawford returns to the ASAP stage! | ASAP" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>Billy then teamed up with Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto, jumping and grooving to The Wanted’s “Glad You Came,” as Concert King Martin Nievera entered, proudly hyping him. </p><p>Building on a trend from 2025, Pop Rock Royalty Yeng Constantino and Gen Z performer Alexa Ilacad delivered Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” in gold ensembles. The number was further elevated by Kai Montinola and Belle Mariano, who brought their pop star flair to the choreography. </p><p>Kapamilya heartthrobs Gerald Anderson and Enchong Dee dominated the stage with Flo Rida’s “Low,” passing the dynamic energy to Gela Atayde, Ken San Jose, and AC Bonifacio, each amplifying the momentum with their own moves. </p><p>Taking a pause from the dance-heavy numbers, OPM Chief Ogie Alcasid opened with Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida,” soon joined by Erik Santos, Jason Dy, and Sofronio Vasquez. Each performer highlighted their individual style—Jason in all gold—while adding coordinated steps that brought a light-hearted charm to the performance. </p><p>Spotlighting the ‘mothers’ of OPM, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez took on Lizzo’s upbeat anthem “About Damn Time” in coordinated black dresses, before bringing all performers together for the song’s closing lines. </p><p>The second part of the show further highlights heartfelt performances from Kapamilya stars, featuring musical reunions of standout singers nurtured through competitive, rewarding singing competitions. </p><p>Headlining the segment, KZ Tandingan performed alongside her “The X-Factor Philippines” mentor Martin Nievera, their father-and-daughter-like bond evident in a rich rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” that left the audience in awe. </p><p>Next, “Star in a Million” alumni Erik Santos and Sheryn Regis revisited one of Philippine television’s most memorable vocal showdowns, delivering solo performances—Erik belting “I Believe I Can Fly” and Sheryn soaring with “Come in Out of the Rain.” </p><p>Singing Champions Jonalyn Viray and Gerald Santos followed, with Jonalyn giving a heartfelt “Kailangan Kita” and Gerald closing his part with “Hanggang.” </p><p>The vocal-heavy segment concluded with the youngest stars, “The Voice Kids Philippines” grand finalists, who confidently carried on the legacy of their seniors, serenading the audience with Lyca Gairanod’s “Narito Ako” and Darren Espanto’s “Ngayon.” </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SHCbC-pOstg" title="The Voice Kids&#x27; Darren, Lyca reunite for a powerful duet on ASAP | ASAP" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>Moving into the third segment, the show radiates good vibes, highlighted by the iconic return of the SexBomb Girls for the promotion of round three of their “Get, Get, Aw!: The SexBomb Concert.” </p><p>Before their highly anticipated production number, the group’s founder and mentor, Philippine Dance Icon Joy Cancio, took the stage with members of the Vicor Dancers in rainbow-themed ternos. They brought the house down dancing to “Love Come Down,” joined by Jameson Blake and Jeremy G. </p><p>Smoothly transitioning to another retro hit, budding stars Michelle Garcia, Gela Atayde, and Ice Almeria busted moves for “Just Got Lucky.” Even Michelle’s supportive family—actor Patrick Garcia and his wife—were all smiles, phones raised to capture the moment. </p><p>Ken San Jose and AC Bonifacio added another eye-catching dance number to the nostalgic playlist with “I’m So Excited,” before passing the limelight to the unforgettable Filipina girl group, the SexBomb Girls. </p><p>Undoubtedly catching everyone’s adrenaline, the iconic “Get Get Aw!” took the audience to a whole new level of excitement with their widely-loved “The Spageti Song,” complete with breathtaking dance breaks. </p><p>Truly, the “SexBomb Fever” is still alive, with mentor Joy expressing pride in her girls—especially that they fulfilled their dream of holding major reunion concerts.  </p><p>Soft hearts were then touched by the warm, magical cover of Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” performed by Moira Dela Torre, Alexa, and Kai, in their real-life Barbie outfits. Following the two are the ever-powerful dance of the G-Force led by Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy alongside fellow dance mentors Myka Espina Gonzaga and Sherwin Casepe.  </p><p>G-Force opened “The Flip” with a different style, starting with a calming rendition of Maki’s “Dilaw,” showcasing flowing, expressive movements, before ramping up the energy for Iza Calzado.
