From car chases to big monologues: Guest stars reveal the "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" scenes they loved filming

For three action-packed years, loyal viewers of &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/batangquiapo">FPJ&#x27;s Batang Quiapo</a>&quot; have been riding shotgun on Tanggol (Coco Martin)’s wild journey. Along the way, we’ve all collected our own list of favorite scenes that we replay in our heads because they’re just that satisfying to watch. But if we, the audience, already have our standout moments, imagine the actors themselves who actually stepped into the chaos, threw the punches, and brought those scenes to life. Of course, they must have their personal faves too.As we start counting the days until the finale, it feels like the perfect time to rewind some of those unforgettable moments. ABS-CBN Studios caught up with a few guest stars from &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/batangquiapo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">FPJ&#x27;s Batang Quiapo</a>&quot; and asked them the &#x27;best-est&#x27; scenes they&#x27;ve filmed in the series.For Aljur Abrenica, who played the aggressive police officer P/Lt. Hector Victorino, his very first scene with the show’s torchbearer, Coco, will always be one for the books. In that initial encounter, Hector’s police team attempted to apprehend Tanggol’s group and the Benito family, leading to a nail-biting shootout.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/10/6/batang-quiapo-ang-brutal-na-labanan-sa-pagitan-nina-tanggol-at-hector-episode-680-2304" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">WATCH: Ang brutal na labanan sa pagitan nina Tanggol at Hector | FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a></div>Aljur will never forget what he learned from Coco, particularly in filming action. “Na-experience ko lahat doon—‘yung habulan, barilan, ‘yung mga fight scenes,” he shared. Aljur’s character was part of the teleserye for four months. Moving on—remember that stretch in the story when we were treated to those Hollywood-level, &#x27;Fast &amp; Furious&#x27;-coded sequences? Rosanna Roces’ character, “Boss” Divina, was one of the central figures during that era of Tanggol’s journey, which is why her favorites were the full-throttle car chase scenes, especially the long sequence they shot at the Binondo–Intramuros Bridge, which the prod team lavishly lit to make it look extra cinematic.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2024/11/22/batang-quiapo-tanggol-napalaban-sa-mga-tauhan-ni-tisay-episode-461-2307" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">WATCH: Tanggol, napalaban sa mga tauhan ni Tisay | FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a></div>&quot;Sobrang mafe-feel mo talaga na nasa isang malaking show ka kasi naipasara nila &#x27;yung buong tulay na &#x27;yun pati lahat ng mga daan na nagle-lead sa kan&#x27;ya pataas at pababa,&quot; she noted, adding that the long, tiring shoot was all worth it in the end. &quot;Ibang approach na &#x27;yung mga fight scenes, masyadong mausok... totoo na talaga... madumi na &#x27;yung mga kalye.&quot;And as an actress, she felt special to be in that scenario. “Oras na para bumaril pero nanonood ako. Parang napapanood ko lang sa mga Hollywood films, pero ngayon nawi-witness mong ginagawa ng kasama mo tapos kasama ka doon sa show, so parang ang sarap-sarap niya panoorin.” From being an ally, Divina eventually became a traitorous enemy to Tanggol. Her character’s story wrapped up in mid-January 2026 when she met her end at the hands of Tanggol himself. For Alex Bovick, who portrayed Linda Sanchez, just her character’s first meeting with Tanggol already made her feel like a legit onscreen fighter,  &quot;Kahit maliit lang na scene na action, nasampal ako ng kalaban, pero feeling ko action star na rin ako, eh.&quot;Apart from action, some drama-heavy scenes are tucked in her &#x27;Batang Quiapo&#x27; portfolio too. Add to her favorites Olivia’s public monologue where she exposed her brother Roberto (Albert Martinez)&#x27;s dirty little secret. Chanda’s character exited the series in September 2025 with a death scene opposite Miguelito (Jake Cuenca).It was a huge honor for Elijah Canlas to be part of &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/batangquiapo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">FPJ&#x27;s Batang Quiapo</a>,&quot; and playing the Primetime King&#x27;s rival for one season took the honor much, much higher.
