Why these scenes in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” are Cherry Pie, Angel, Maris, and Jake’s favorites

We’re now on the highly anticipated “Ang Huling Laban ni Tanggol” finale week of<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/batangquiapo"> “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo”!</a> And for the past three years, the well-loved primetime series has had us glued to our screens through the jaw-dropping action, heart-tugging drama, and gripping suspense it has relentlessly offered its avid viewers. As every scene brought thrills, emotional depth, and masterfully crafted scenes, fans arguably have their personal favorites that indeed left a lasting impression on them. But what about the cast themselves? Well, ABS-CBN Studios had the chance to ask some of them—and here are the answers of Cherry Pie Picache, Maris Racal, Jake Cuenca, and Angel Aquino!Since she’s been part of the series ever since its pilot week, Cherry Pie finds it impossible to choose one. Unbeknownst to us, she’s actually as amused and as gigil as us in the scenes of her character, Marites Dimaguiba, with Mercedes Cabral’s Lena Cortez—the shameless mistress of her husband, Rigor (John Estrada). Aside from her obvious abhorrence against her, Marites reproached Lena for bossing Camille around and told her one of the funniest lines we’ve ever heard on the show: “Anong palagay mo kay Camille, busog?”Even the ever-serious veteran actress laughed at that particular moment, which had actually gone viral and turned into a meme because of how effortlessly funny it was. But as a dramatic actress first and foremost, big emotional scenes always have a special place in Cherry Pie’s heart. When you act with someone so good and then you guys have achieved so much together, it feels special. It feels great,” he remarked.Of course, he wouldn’t leave off his list Miguelito’s entertaining dance at the miting de avance of the Guerreros, which even went viral online soon after its airing. He recalled that they actually didn’t plan for it to go viral, and it was very accidental.
