<p>“Love Thy Woman” (2020) introduced not only one but two generations of infidelity, with double the stakes and drama for all parties involved, making an already complicated family setup even more complex than ever.</p><p>The family-romance drama teleserye piqued the interest of many Kapamilyas because of its bold and unique storyline, as it closely follows the half-Chinese, half-Filipino stepsisters Dana (Yam Concepcion) and Jia Wong (Kim Chiu). Dana is the daughter of Adam Wong (Christopher de Leon) and his legal wife, Lucy Wong (Eula Valdes), while Jia is the illegitimate child he had with Kai Estrella (Sunshine Cruz).</p><p>Dana and Jia are groomed to one day take over their father’s multi-million-peso real estate business, fueling the rivalry between them as they compete for their father’s affection and approval. Jia earned her interior design degree from a local university, in contrast to Dana, who finished her architectural studies in California, where she also met her soon-to-be husband, David Chao (Xian Lim).</p><p>The two eventually tied the knot. However, on their wedding night, David and Dana were involved in a tragic car accident, which left the bride in a coma. Dana’s loved ones spent nearly a year trying to wake her up, but to no avail, until they ultimately arrived at the painful decision to end her suffering.</p><p>While grappling with grief over Dana’s impending fate, Jia and David developed an unlikely friendship with one another, which later dangerously blossomed into a love affair.
