<p>Apart from having multifaceted characters, “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/blood-vs-duty" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Blood vs Duty</em></u></strong></a>” effectively sets up interesting and formidable alliances, most notably the turbulent one that binds Agents Lara Angeles (Bela Padilla) and Felix Domingo (Baron Geisler) together.</p><p>Being cared for by the General Carillo (Bodjie Pascua) during the darkest moments of their childhoods, Lara and Felix eventually began working for him as soon as they became adults. Throughout those years, the two grew to weaponize their rage and resentment against those who had wronged them, hardly allowing compassion in their hearts. </p><p>At present, as they move forward with Gen. Carillo’s inhumane plans that unjustly attribute the cause of widespread gun-related violence to Muslim communities, Lara gradually recovers pieces of her conscience, but Felix always keeps her in line. </p><p>These ten haunting scenes sum up the explosive dynamics that exist between the strong personalities of Lara and Felix. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="916" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uDcaD3N4oTQ" title="10 scenes of villain-in-tandem Lara and Felix in Blood VS Duty | Kapamilya Toplist" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>Felix coldly murders Vinluan and Concendido while Lara fools Marcus </strong></div><p>To make matters worse for the allegations made against Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) regarding his involvement in supplying criminal organizations with smuggled illegal firearms, Felix disguised himself as a Muslim man alongside his masked henchmen protecting him.  </p><p>Momentarily standing outside their black vehicle, Felix brutally shot police officers Vinluan (Emilio Daez) and Concendido (Kobie Brown) to their unexpected deaths. Shortly after, Lara was then seen tactfully disproving Marcus’ (Richard Gutierrez) suspicions of her before Felix arrived, feigning concern for the same officers he murdered.  </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Lara deliberately diverts Task Force Alpha away from Datu Rahman </strong></div><p>During the search operation for Datu Rahman inside the abandoned ZylveriX Limited building, Lara, who had locked up the Datu in a concealed area behind the defunct elevator, exchanged worried glances with Felix.  </p><p>To evade suspicion, Lara took an active role, even pairing up with Marcus. She then began to panic when she lost track of Marcus, who was already examining the elevator. Fortunately for Lara, the other Task Force Alpha personnel and NLEA policemen reconvened with Marcus for more directives, and she used this as a distraction to lead them away from the area.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Lara faces Marcus’ suspicion-filled eyes </strong></div><p>Although the initial search attempt was unsuccessful, later that night, Marcus managed to locate Datu Rahman and eliminate all of the armed men holding him captive. Immediately thereafter, he left clues that pointed to the secret passage through the elevator to ensure that when he returns with Director Azuelo (Rommel Padilla) and the rest of their colleagues, it’ll be an effortless find.  </p><p>Just as Marcus planned, Director Azuelo noticed a key that activated the elevator. With things not going her way, Lara had no choice but to suppress her nervousness and her growing sense of frustration upon witnessing the scattered dead bodies of her accomplices in the basement. Before they moved forward, Marcus gazed at Lara with extremely skeptical eyes.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Lara falls apart after losing custody of Datu Rahman <u></u></strong></div><p>Coming to terms with Datu Rahman’s disappearance once more, Director Azuelo swiftly brushed off Marcus’ hunches, saying that they must track down the Datu as soon as possible regardless of whether he escaped or was abducted again. While Felix was irately driving at the mere thought of his failed battle with Jalil (Gerald Anderson), Lara suffered from overwhelming rage, screaming over Datu Rahman’s unknown whereabouts.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Lara and Felix react differently to Gen. Carillo’s unjust schemes <u></u></strong></div><p>Just as Felix notified Gen. Carillo of his newly fulfilled tasks, such as silencing the loose ends to their objective to ensure that Major Allan (Gerald Anderson) was unlikely to uncover them, Lara showed up, demanding a conversation with the general.  </p><p>She then bitterly questioned her adoptive father, Gen. Carillo, concerning the necessity of casualties in their plans, which included her fellow Task Force Alpha members and the Muslim residents of Isla Damai during their Zamboanga Operation. Felix was only able to eavesdrop as the general sternly reminded Lara of why there had to be fatalities. </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Felix endures Lara’s damaging wrath </strong></div><p>Stepping out of Gen. Carillo’s office with a downcast expression, Lara encountered Felix, who was waiting for her by the staircase. The moment worried Felix tried to console her, Lara gave him a harsh slap and went on to unleash her bottled-up rage on him before walking away. </p><div> </div><div><strong>Lara grapples with the lone sniper while unarmed <u></u></strong></div><p>Straight after the assassination of Metal 13’s Axl (Marc Abaya) and Jovi (Joem Bascon) in front of S. Trinidad Hospital and the news media; the reformed Task Force Alpha, along with a few NLEA policemen, wasted no time seeking out the lone sniper hiding in the other building. </p><p>While Marcus quickly ordered his team to gather any evidence that would identify the sniper, Lara went alone and unarmed. In the end, she was able to hold down the shooter and unmask her identity, but she let her guard down, thus, making room for an escape route.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Felix ruthlessly compels Tommy to take his own life  </strong></div><p>Inside S. Trinidad Hospital, Felix threatened the injured Tommy (Yves Flores), the youngest brother of the assassinated Axl and Jovi, saying that he must make a decision between Felix killing their mother or him taking his own life.  </p><p>Soon enough, Task Force Alpha gathered around the deceased Tommy, with Felix simply shrugging off the incident, despite everyone else being shocked.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Felix reminds Lara of their crucial duty under Gen. Carillo </strong></div><p>In the aftermath of the Rosales Brothers’ deaths, an unbothered Felix brought the shell casing of the sniper to Lara, clarifying that he cleaned the clues that could have exposed them. Hearing this, Lara refused Felix’s evidence, stressing that she had many things running through her mind. </p><p>Confused and impatient, Felix then confronted Lara concerning her change of attitude from wanting to know every detail to declining his updates. In response, Lara silenced and forced him to leave the room. </p><p>As his last line of defense, Felix eerily answered that he’s simply carrying out his duties while also reminding her of their crucial mission.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>Felix quietly watches over an emotional Lara </strong></div><p>In light of the murders of the Rosales Brothers and her resurfacing conscience clashing with Gen. Carillo’s elaborate scheme, Lara cried alone inside her home.
