THROWBACK: The original cast of 'Mara Clara'

<p>MANILA -- During its long run in the 1990s, the soap opera &quot;Mara Clara&quot; touched millions of viewers and made Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes into instant stars.</p><p>The original series ran from 1992 to 1997 and since then Santos has been crowned the country&#x27;s &quot;Drama Queen,&quot; while Reyes became a &quot;Primera Kontrabida.&quot;</p><p>In 2010, ABS-CBN revived the classic teleserye with Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes.</p><p>Last June 30, the cast of the original &quot;Mara Clara&quot; reunited at a Chinese restaurant in Bonifacio Global City.
