WATCH: Trailers of all MMFF 2016 entries

<p>The line-up for the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival, to put it mildly, is quite different from previous years after it has merged into one category the independent films and mainstream movies.</p><p>Among those snubbed were OctoArts Films International&#x27;s &quot;Enteng Kabisote 10 and The Abangers&quot;, Regal Films&#x27; &quot;Mano Po 7: Chinoy&quot;, and Star Cinema&#x27;s &quot;The Super Parental Guardians&quot;.</p><p>Like before, the movies will hit the theaters on December 25, but its awards night will be held on January 8, 2017, after the festival closes.</p><p>On Saturday, the stars of the entries will begin the countdown to the festival at Skydome at SM City North EDSA.
