GGV Throwback: Janella Salvador compares herself to her past TV characters

Before she blows us away with her fierce portrayal of iconic villainess Valentina in the much-anticipated “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/behind-the-scenes-photos-stills-from-darna-the-tv-series-featuring-jane-joshua-in-one-frame-17134">Darna: The TV Series</a>,” let’s look back at Janella Salvador’s super young and ‘sosyal’ roles. In this episode of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/ggv/">Gandang Gabi Vice</a>, Vice Ganda asked his guests Manolo Pedrosa and Marlo Mortel, Janella’s leading men in “Oh My G,” if they find the actress “maarte.” Manolo said he finds Janella patient and not at all “maarte.” Marlo had the same opinion, especially since he’s used to Janella’s way of speaking. Vice thought coño talks are just normal to the trio because they’re all rich kids. But to him who’s admittedly “jologs” and “jejemon,” he’d probably find coño talks exaggerated. “No offense meant ha, dahil may differences. Sosyal kayo, jologs kami… ‘Yung mga sosyal naman ‘pag nakita kami, ‘Ano ba ‘yan! Ang jejemon naman ng mga ‘yan!’ Gan’un ang nararamdaman natin sa isa’t isa. Hindi natin nage-gets kasi magkaiba tayo ng mundo,” explained Vice. Janella, on her part, admitted that she’s somewhat similar to her characters but just in the manner of speaking.
