Yayakagin ko kayo na pirmahan natin ho. Waiver ho, yung AMLC na tayo ay imbestigahan para makita po yung lifestyle at executive performance,&quot; he said.</p><p>Binay&#x27;s statement came after Senator Grace Poe challenged the former Makati mayor to answer allegations that he pocketed millions of pesos in ill-gotten wealth during his time as Makati mayor. Binay earlier refused to face a Senate subcommittee inquiry on the allegations, saying the probe is politically motivated.</p><p>For his part, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte said that if he is elected president, he will make it mandatory for government officials to sign such a waiver.</p><p>He then told Binay: &quot;Nandiyan na yung waiver mo, Vice-President? Nandiya na yung waiver? Nakakatakot na. Pirmahan ko diyan sa harap mo.&quot;</p><p>TV5 anchor and PiliPinas Debates moderator Luchi Cruz-Valdez reminded presidential candidate and Vice President Jejomar Binay not to bring out notes during the debate.</p><p>&quot;With all due respect po sa inyo, Mr. VP, the Comelec has ruled, and we would like to abide by the rules of the Comelec, that there will be no notes allowed during this debate,&quot; Cruz-Valdez told Binay.</p><p>&quot;Mawalang galang na po, ako po ay humihingi ng paumanhin publicly kay Mr. Vice President kasi kami po ang nagbigay pahintulot po sa kanila na magdala ng notes,&quot; Cruz-Valdez added.</p><p>The TV5 anchor explained that the bringing in of notes to the debate was the reason why the second leg of the #PiliPinasDebates at the University of the Philippines Visayas in Cebu got delayed for about one hour and 30 minutes.</p><p>&quot;Iyan rin po ang dahilan kung bakit po naantala ang pagsisimula ng debateng ito. Pero sa puntong ito po, Mr. Vice President, with all due respect, I have to tell you, we will abide by the Comelec rules that there will be no notes during this debate,&quot; Cruz-Valdez said.</p><p>Binay countered that he was not bringing out notes, but documents Duterte was asking for.</p><p>&quot;Luchi, hinihingi ni Mayor Duterte e. Ibibigay ko lang sa kanya,&quot; Binay said. &quot;It&#x27;s not a not a note, it&#x27;s a document! Excuse me.&quot;</p><p>The second leg of the PiliPinas Debates was hosted by TV5, together with BusinessWorld, The Philippine Star and the Commission on Elections.</p>
