MANILA -- Presidential candidate and senator Grace Poe on Sunday confirmed meeting with an official of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC ) last Wednesday.

But Poe clarified that the influential group has so far not given a commitment of support for her presidential bid.

Poe added that she talked about her plan for government with the group's leaders, who shared with her their advocacy.

Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte secured the endorsement of the One Cebu party as he vies for the presidency.

One Cebu head and gubernatorial bet Winston Garcia said the party will deliver one million votes for the PDP-Laban standard bearer, like they did during former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's re-election bid in 2004.

The party cut ties with presidential candidate Jejomar Binay in March after the Vice President allegedly failed to fulfill his part of their partnership.
