In an episode of “Tao Po,” the &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/highstreet2024">High Street&quot;</a> lead star shared her past struggles, and how she turned them into tools for growth and achieving her dreams.Just like her name, Andrea sparkles like a gem in every role she takes on, leaving a lasting impression among viewers. And it&#x27;s not just her acting that&#x27;s admired, but also her model-like skills in posing for her social media and magazine photos. Demonstrating her versatility, she took on a contrasting role as the despised antagonist, Marga, in the afternoon series &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/kadinangginto">Kadenang Ginto</a>.&quot;“’Yung transitioning po from Annaliza to Marga wasn’t really that hard for me. Kasi mahilig po ako sa challenging roles. Feeling ko po doon ako mas nadadalian kasi mas diverse, mas napaglalaruan ko sila,” she said.And speaking of challenges, she didn&#x27;t just play one, but twin characters in the hit series &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/seniorhigh2023">Senior High</a>,&quot; which is now back on primetime with a sequel titled &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/highstreet2024">High Street&quot;</a> Reflecting on portraying the two roles, Andrea felt that she resonated with both Luna and Sky in certain aspects. One is fiercer while the other is softer, and she has experienced how to embody both personalities. Specifically, she went through bullying in school as Luna did.One of the criticisms she faces on social media is being labeled as &#x27;pabebe&#x27; due to her her child-like voice, which she clarified is not intentional. “Akala ng mga tao pinipili ko magpa-cute. No’ng nababasa ko ‘yung comments, actually hindi ako nasasaktan... I am kikay but I’m not pabebe, magkaiba ‘yun,” she explained.Currently, she relates more to Sky, someone who has matured after facing life&#x27;s hardest blows. Like Sky, Andrea is also single and focused on her career. “I’m fine alone. Kahit mag-isa ako, kaya ko lahat,” she affirmed. “Pero ang love, ang kaisa-isang emosyon na kahit perfect ka na siguro, ‘pag tinamaan ka ng pag-ibig, pwede kang manghina.”At a very young age, she witnessed the end of her parents&#x27; love story, which made her realize that not all relationships last until forever. “Siguro I was seven. Hindi ko gets bakit sila nagse-stay sa isa’t isa kahit ganyan,” she recalled. “Pero n’ung na-in love na ako, ang hirap pala.”Getting to know Andrea is such a delight, isn&#x27;t it? It happened when she was a kid, and she was with her grandfather outside when a stranger almost took her.Andrea bowed out in the following rounds as she struggled to come up with more lies.
