It has been already a month since <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime" target="_blank">It’s Showtime</a> relaunched one of its well-loved segments “Mini Miss U!” And in the past weeks, we have already met a number of little girls from different parts of the country, who totally captivated us with their endearing charm, beauty, and talent.But apart from simply looking at how adorable they are on the outside and how confident they are in showcasing their skills and in bantering with the hosts, we are also looking forward to see the contestants’ acting chops as they show how they would react or behave in certain situations given by the hosts. As the Unkabogable Star pretended to be her playmate who stumbled while they’re playing, Cassandra refused to extend a hand to her, telling her that she couldn’t help her. Instead, she told her to just call her family or bring herself to the doctor in order for her wounds to be treated. It might not be the response we were expecting, but it was her who was crowned the winner in the segment’s pilot episode.The madlang people also admired “Mini Miss U” Glenisha Jaeia Ramirez’s skit with comedians Lassy and MC, as the dynamic duo made us laugh with their hilarious way of telling each other “sorry”, upon being innocently asked by her.“Mini Miss U” Angeline Manggat then humored us with her unlikely wishes to her ill grandma, played by Vice, which were for her to be able to appear on TV, to see Tanggol (Coco Martin’s character in <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo">FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a>), and to become an artista. And her quirky and innocent answers apparently added cute points to her, for she was hailed the winner that day.From funny hirits, we then found ourselves impressed by the dramatic prowess of “Mini Miss U” Erinrose Espiritu, as she’s able to amazingly let her tears roll down her cheeks during her moving skit with Vice about two best friends. The same happened when Mini Miss U Jewel Francine Sotelo couldn’t stop crying during her acting moment with the Unkabogable Star. Their performances were so impressive, that the judges decided that they should win in the respective days that they competed.We then found ourselves stunned and touched while watching “Mini Miss U” Annika Co’s trending stint, which even made host Anne Curtis emotional. As Vice portrayed the role of her friend who had a stage fright and anxiety, the brilliant kid appeased her by reminding her to not worry if others would not like her, because what matters most is that there’s at least one person who still believes and loves her. She also added, “You shouldn’t be worrying if you’ll be the best in the world. You have to be the best version of yourself.”These really surprised and delighted netizens, as they didn’t expect these wise and encouraging words from a child. Thus, there’s definitely no doubt that she took home the crown that day.Last, but definitely not the least, was the astonishing acting performance of “Mini Miss U” Natania Beatriz Guerrero, who amazed us with how easy it was for her to cry without the need of some motivation or more time.
