Since he wouldn’t be able to come home during the weekend of that week he filmed this vlog, he decided to do it on a Thursday. It might be a long drive from Manila to Tarlac, not to mention that he was all by himself, yet he apparently didn’t have a dull time while on the road as he amused himself by looking at the beautiful view and talking to his camera as if he was his followers were there.

On his way, Ion swung by a gasoline station somewhere in Lakeshore, Pampanga in his attempt to give his gift – a helmet – to one of the pump attendants who claimed to be his fan and asked for a cap from him. Unfortunately, the man he was looking for was not present, so Ion just continued driving to his next stop, which was at one of his friends’ house who also requested a helmet from him for his nephew, before he headed home.

It rained that afternoon, which has been so rare especially ever since the dry season started last March, so he really made sure to enjoy the moment. He was accompanied by some of the kids in their neighborhood, who even followed him as he went to the highway and bought a bunch of singkamas or jicamas from a stall. He was even able to get Indian mangoes that he shared with the kids and happily munched his piece.

As soon as he delivered the singkamas he purchased, Ion then launched a fun “Bring Me” game among the kids who were his companions in bathing in the rain. It was quite challenging since it was also flooding that time, but everyone still enjoyed as Ion gave the winners P50 each as prize.
