Always ‘pasavogue’ and never ‘puchu-puchu’!

Vice Ganda made sure that the opening production for “It’s Showtime’s” GMA launch, which also doubled as his birthday performance, would be far from mediocre.

The Unkabogable Superstar and his co-hosts enthralled the entire nation with an electrifying, spectacular concert-like routine, which took a village to mount. In his latest vlog, Vice shared behind-the-scenes ‘ganaps’ from brainstorming and recording sessions to rehearsals and the big day.

The vlog commenced with the program's preparations on April 5, a day before its debut on GMA’s main channel. Vice noted that Team "It's Showtime" went the extra mile and even revamped their studio for a truly unforgettable episode.

He’s seen being hands-on in the production process, exchanging ideas with the creatives and directors. Not one to compromise on quality, he ensured that every element on stage was perfect.

The video includes snippets of the rehearsals and recording sessions. For those curious as to how they filmed Vice’s beauty shots in the desert, which they showcased in a VTR before his stage appearance, the vlog unveils that they used green screen technology.

On the afternoon of April 5, the "It's Showtime" family was still fully immersed in rehearsals. Vice is seen giving motivation to his partner, Ion Perez. The practice continued until two in the morning of April 6, mere hours before they began preparations once more for the live episode.

On the big day, Vice’s supporters flooded the studio to greet him and witness his performance. The Kapamilya star was showered with love and received thoughtful gifts from his friends and co-hosts.

ABS-CBN executives Carlo Katigbak, Mark Lopez, and Cory Vidanes graced that momentous day, looking like proud parents as they observed the "It's Showtime" hosts' performances and heartfelt messages on stage.
