Vice Ganda celebrated her 48th birthday in style with an island getaway at a luxurious private villa in Nueva Ecija, attended by her friends from within and outside the entertainment industry, as well as her family. We, lucky fans, now have the chance to keep up with the party through Vice’s latest vlog titled "Unkabogable Slay-Bration sa Nueva Ecija."

The resort offers lovely suites, a relaxing spa, and an infinity pool—making it the ideal setting for the "It's Showtime" host to relax and revel in the joys of life with loved ones.

The adorable kids of her "It's Showtime" co-hosts added to the fun atmosphere, with Anne Curtis and her daughter Dahlia among the earliest arrivals. As they were escorted by Vice to their room, Anne gushed about the concert-like stage being set up, expressing her excitement.

We catch a glimpse of the setup for the star-studded gathering. As dinnertime arrives, the entire banquet is full of people who cherish the Unkabogable Superstar.

Following dinner, an outdoor poolside party, emceed by Kaladkaren, kicked off. Members of her "It's Showtime" family shared heartfelt messages. Ogie Alcasid expressed gratitude for their friendship. Teddy Corpuz celebrated Vice's newfound love in Ion Perez, and jokingly added that he’s proud to be Vice's first crush on "It's Showtime."

During her turn to speak, Karylle acknowledged that while the world might not always understand her friendship with Vice, she is certain of its depth and significance. Kim Chiu appreciates how Vice is always there to make her feel loved and supported. Meanwhile, Amy Perez thanked Vice for the trust and respect she has for her and promised that she’ll stay around.

The OGs, including Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Anne, also shared their sentiments. Jhong likened Vice to a skilled carpenter who consistently rebuilds their house and protects their family despite the challenges they've faced. Vhong likewise thanked Vice for being the team’s pilot, the one who solves their problems head-on and spares her co-hosts from unnecessary burden.

As she always does, Anne treated everyone to an energizing sample showcasing her powerful and ‘hilarious’ singing talent. She thanked her ‘sisterette’ for being a source of laughter and inspiration not only to their circle but to the whole world. Anne fondly recalled a time when Vice thought she’d grow old without a life partner, so she promised to always look after Vice as part of her family. Despite Vice now having Ion by her side, Anne reaffirms her commitment to treating Vice as family, a promise that she will never forget.

"It's Showtime" head writer, Alex Balite, shared insights into what it's like working with Vice. Meanwhile, the program's director, Jon Moll, reminisced about the moment he received the call to direct the show and shared that he enjoys collaborating with Vice, whom he described as brilliant and creative.

Vice's beloved Nanay Rosario became emotional during her speech, calling herself the happiest and proudest mother. Though initially shy, Ion couldn't resist delivering a message when Vice, his partner, called him to join her at the front. Ion is thankful for his beloved's good health because he sees how hard she works.

“Paulit-ulit, lagi kong ipaparamdam sa’yo ang pagmamahal ko. Hangga’t kaya ko. Maraming rason ang tama para maging mali, pero ‘yung pagmamahal ko sa’yo, hinding-hindi magiging mali,” he said, before pulling Vice into a tight hug.

Vice then took the chance to thank everyone who made the effort to attend her celebration, despite the considerable travel time to Nueva Ecija. She mentioned that she chose a far-off venue so her guests are forced to stay throughout the celebration. She just wanted to maximize quality time with her visitors.

She also hopes her guests take a moment to appreciate and be inspired by the beauty surrounding them. “Bakit sa Nueva Ecija? Kasi gusto ko bumiyahe kayo nang mahaba at sa pagbiyahe n’yo ng apat na oras, may makikita kayo sa paligid. Nandito tayo sa Nueva Ecija, the Rice Granary of the Philippines. Sa biyahe n’yo napansin ninyo, ang daming sakahan, ang daming panananim, ang daming puno, ang daming halaman.”

She continued, “Gusto ko makita n’yo lahat ‘yun, na para tayong mga panananim at puno. Magdamag tayo binibilad sa araw na napakahirap. Matapos tayong ibilad sa araw, babagyuhin pa, tapos pepestehin pa. Pero patuloy tayong nabubuhay at nagbibigay ng ganda sa paligid.”

She also calls the celebration a thanksgiving party, as she has countless reasons to feel blessed despite life’s imperfections, “Life hasn’t been easy pero, still, grabe ‘yung blessings na natatanggap ko at nating lahat.”

She gave a heartfelt shoutout to her “It’s Showtime” family, the first people to make her feel that the love she gives is reciprocated. And, of course, she gave glory to the Man above. “Lord, thank You so much for this life, for this family, for these beautiful people around me, for all the love that I have been experiencing. At sa susunod na araw, buwan at taon, sana ito pa rin ang mga kasama ko.”

She added that the night feels like a wedding reception to her and Ion as they are surrounded by the people dear to them.

The video then transitions to highlights of the all-night party. We caught glimpses of ABS-CBN bosses Carlo Katigbak and Cory Vidanes, along with veteran star Maricel Soriano. KZ Tandingan rocked the stage as one of the performers.

The night was a whirlwind of booze, dancing, singing, and endless laughter, with some comedic moments like Jhong accidentally falling into the pool while partying.
