For sure, some of us have missed seeing Sunshine Garcia on television after seemingly taking a break from showbiz to focus on taking care of her growing family with beloved husband of three years, actor-turned-politician Alex Castro. Thus, we are delighted to see her come back and once again exhibit her dancing prowess, and, at the same time share her knowledge and expertise, through her stint as a mentor-slash-judge in the “Girl On Fire” segment of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a>.As we see how genuinely joyful and glowingly beautiful she is, we can deduce that she has a happy life and is indeed a happy wife. They’ve been together for seven years now, and marked their third anniversary as husband and wife in March. Apart from their respective endeavors in the past years, they have also been busy with their mommy and daddy duties to their two little boys Axel, 4, and Alexander, 1, as well as to their respective offspring from their previous relationships. The beginning of their romance seven years ago might be marred with controversy, but they were able to conquer it and showed the world that nothing or no one could ever bring their strong relationship down.Both of them might be busy in their careers – Sunshine as an actress-dancer and Alex as the vice governor of Bulacan – as well as in taking care of their one-year-old son, but they make sure to still allot a portion of their hectic schedules with one another and spend quality time together, as what they revealed in their interview in Magandang Buhay in February 2020.When asked for their message to one another, they talked about how compromise and showing their genuine love for one another makes them feel secured in their relationship. Alex couldn’t promise to her that he would be faithful – just like what others did – but he imparted that he always asked for God’s guidance for him to not commit mistake nor give in to temptations. Thus, he only vowed, “Promise ko na hanggang kamatayan, buo ‘yong pamilya natin at kayo ang buhay ko, at kayo ang priority ko sa buhay ko. Ikaw at ang mga bata ang nagbibigay-sigla sa akin [at] dahilan kung bakit ako nagtratrabaho, gumigising, at nagsusumikap para maging maayos ‘yong buhay natin. Hindi man tayo maging mayaman, basta importante, kumpleto tayo. Paggising natin sa umaga, tayo-tayo pa rin ang magkakasama.”In return, the 38-year-old sexy dancer-actress also tugged the heart of her husband by saying, “Ako rin, hindi ko maipro-promise na sa’yo na magkakaroon tayo ng super-duper happy everyday, hindi ako magkakamali, na hindi ako magagalit sa’yo. Pero sinabi ko ‘to no’ng wedding natin, na isa lang ang alam ko – mamahalin pa rin kita kahit dumating na ‘yong araw na hindi ka na kamahal-mahal. Kasi nag-promise ako kay God at sa mga bata na ikaw na ‘yong huling lalaki.”But more than the sweetness that they exhibit in their photos, such as the ones we included in this gallery, what makes them one of the couples that are worth looking up for is with how supportive they are of each other’s endeavors. Sunshine, despite not wanting to have a partner who’s in showbiz and/or politics, has been supportive of her “hubby” who is both an actor and politician, while Alex, in return, doesn’t want to hinder his “wifey” from accepting showbiz projects.Apart from the undying love and support they have for each other, another secret to their blissful marriage is enjoying every moment they have together – from going on dates and vacations whenever their schedules permit, to organizing their children’s birthday parties and attending various occasions hand-in-hand.
