First Ultimate BidaMan Jin Macapagal on winning, future plans and more

Out of 12 candidates, one man has finally emerged as the first ever Ultimate BidaMan. And he is none other than Jin Macapagal from Cebu! Without a doubt, his journey on <a href="https://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/itsshowtime/main">It’s Showtime</a> was eventful and worthwhile, but this is only the beginning of his big break. Now, it is time for him to become the industry’s next big thing.Admittedly, however, he did not expect this outcome. When asked about the advantage he possessed which set him apart from the rest of the competition, he talked about not actually having one. Instead he just focused on the challenges at hand, “I was trying to grasp what was going on.” He was simply enjoying the moment because he knew that this would be unforgettable no matter what the results were. Jin added that everyone deserves to be a BidaMan, “everyone has the potential.” From their batch, Dan, Jervy, Wize and Ron were his toughest competitions.In the end, he is beyond relieved. Jin could hardly control his emotions after his name was announced. All he could see was everyone who supported him and how he made them proud. He also remembered all the struggles he faced to get to where he is. “Parang nakita ko siya as ‘yun na ‘yung pinaka culminating moment. Everything was worth it,” he described.So, what is the next step for him? “Siguro, I just need to rest,” he revealed. As for the prize money, his plan is to save up for the future. The Ultimate BidaMan also shared that he hopes to work with Kathryn Bernardo someday. “Sa generation namin, siya talaga ‘yung hinahangaan ng lahat,” he explained.As for his advice to aspiring actors, “don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” Joining <a href="https://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/itsshowtime/main">It’s Showtime</a>’s BidaMan was out of his comfort zone and it was a risk that proved to be worth it, “’Yun lang din ginawa ko, I just tried.”
