Jethro and his babies! Thou Reyes’ ‘nakaka-good vibes’ BTS moments with his “Lavender Fields” co-stars

<p>There are some characters we just love to <em>hate</em>, and then there are those we hate but somehow find hilariously entertaining too. Enter Thou Reyes and his remarkable portrayal of Jethro in &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/lavenderfields"><strong><u>Lavender Fields</u></strong></a>.&quot;</p><p>Jethro first got under viewers&#x27; skin when he was introduced as one of Jasmin (Jodi Sta. Maria)’s neighbors in San Remo. At first, he seemed friendly, even calling her “Baby Jas” with endearing familiarity. But it didn’t take long for his meddlesome ways to cause chaos. In fact, Jethro was the one responsible for endangering Jasmin and her mother, Rosita (Lotlot de Leon), as they were trying to escape the Buenavidez family’s henchmen. His interference—aka being &#x27;epal&#x27;—led to a chain of tragic events in Jasmin’s life.</p><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAEyze-tm4MR6kEa&amp;cid=ABOC_6SFmJvyK_nj&amp;activation=click&amp;vip_mode=playing&amp;vip_position=bottom-right"></script></div><p>If that wasn’t enough, Jethro later proved his greed when he stole millions of pesos that Jasmin had hidden away; money secretly left for her by Tyrone (Jericho Rosales), her lover. At this point, viewers knew he was a character they couldn’t help but despise.</p><p>And just when audiences thought they were finally rid of him, Jethro returned to the series, this time as a bar owner. Annoying as ever, but funnily enough, he even tried to spend a night with the &#x27;kontrabida&#x27; Iris (Janine Gutierrez).</p><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAEyze-tm4MR6kEa&amp;cid=ABN74w9imcUzXiPc&amp;activation=click&amp;vip_mode=playing&amp;vip_position=bottom-right"></script></div><p>He was able to redeem himself for a few episodes after he teamed up with Jasmin against Iris, but in true Jethro fashion, he went against the plan hatched by his “Baby Jas.&quot; And by not following through, he got caught in the middle of the chaos and, in the end, was shot by Iris’ henchmen. Goodbye, Jethro.</p><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAEyze-tm4MR6kEa&amp;cid=ABOgxhDTXAKLD_DJ&amp;activation=click&amp;vip_mode=playing&amp;vip_position=bottom-right"></script></div><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAEyze-tm4MR6kEa&amp;cid=ABOgxxsK0FbeSwUE&amp;activation=click&amp;vip_mode=playing&amp;vip_position=bottom-right"></script></div><div><em>Hindi niya lab si Baby Jas.</em></div><p>Behind the scenes, though, you’ll find that Thou, the actor who brings such a mix of annoyance and humor to life, is loved by his co-stars. Thou has been a delight on set, filling the atmosphere with lighthearted fun despite the thrill and frustration his character brings on screen.</p><p>Jethro with Baby Jas and Baby Iris in one frame! What an <em>‘aliw’</em> moment!  In this set of behind-the-scenes photos, we see Thou, still wearing his fake blood makeup from his intense final scene. He said this was ‘Jethro 2.0,’ but to us viewers, it&#x27;s definitely a level-up... in how much he drove us crazy!</p><figure><center><img alt="BTS Thou Reyes as Jethro" src="https://asset-ent.abs-cbn.com/updates/lavenderfields/2024/10/18/Thou-Jethro-BTS-5.jpg"/></center></figure><p>Thou’s stint in &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/lavenderfields"><strong><u>Lavender Fields</u></strong></a>&quot; may have been short, but he definitely had a blast! He was especially honored to have mingled with some of the biggest stars in the ensemble cast, like Maricel Soriano, whom he has admired for her acting since he was a kid.
