She was successful in finding him many years later, yet she was already too late since he passed away in 2001.Although it was tough for her to live without a father figure in her life, the love of her family has helped her get through with everything. They have established a tight bond through the years, which we’re able to get a glimpse of through her IG posts.While she already has close-knit ties with her family, which helped her to become who she is at present, her bond with them further tightened during the pandemic. And siguro, isa do’n ‘yong kung may magpapasaya talaga sa’yo, ‘yon ang mga tao na closest sa’yo, ‘yong mga taong nearest sa’yo. So, lalayo pa ba tayo? Kundi ang pamilya natin, hindi ba?” she told the momshie-hosts when asked what or who makes her and her “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/angsaiyoayakin" target="_blank">Ang Sa Iyo Ay Sa Akin</a>” co-star Iza Calzado happy.Then she added, “I know naman that I love them so much, pero the situation revealed na sila pala talaga ‘yong treasure sa buhay ko, most especially si Thirdy.”Attesting to that was one of the captions she attached to one of their lovely family pictures that she posted a few years ago, in which she wrote, “It is not what we have in life that is important, but who we have in life that matters [heart emoji].”In the past years, we’d seen her and her family travel together, one of which was when they went on a holiday vacation in Japan in 2022.
