In the beginning, I was so afraid when someone says one negative thing about my blog,&quot; he said.&quot;When you make a small mistake and you accidentally post it online, you&#x27;ll get all these bashers,&quot; he warned.However, not all people who say negative things are trolls, he clarified. Some criticisms can be constructive, and might prove to be valuable.&quot;There are time when you need to take constructive criticisms and feedback, especially when a lot of people are saying the same thing like, &#x27;Hey, you shouldn&#x27;t say that. You shouldn&#x27;t do that. That&#x27;s wrong,&#x27;&quot; he said.&quot;But, of course, as long as you&#x27;re not hurting anyone, you&#x27;re not saying anything offensive, you&#x27;re not saying anything negative, you should be okay.&quot; When In Manila started in 2010 as Golangco&#x27;s personal diary. He was vacationing in the Philippines when he opened the site to share his adventures and local discoveries.The site has since grown to become a popular blog which features stories of people, places, and trends that interest millions of Filipino readers not only in the country but abroad. It now has about 400 contributors, and When In Manila continues to grow bigger and collect more impressions online, Golangco, now the blog&#x27;s CEO, reported.This year, When In Manila plans to ramp up its foundation&#x27;s operations, and find more ways to help the country&#x27;s poor.
