<p>MANILA - Television personality Kim Atienza shared how the challenges he experienced in his life changed his perspective on things.</p><p>In a video posted by Victory Christian Fellowship on YouTube, Atienza said he has always had a good relationship with Jesus Christ and treated him as his &quot;best friend.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I grew up, like most of us religious people, with Jesus as best friend. I talked with Jesus, my best friend, all the time,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;A best friend is someone you could run to. He&#x27;s also someone you could disobey or snub when you&#x27;re not in the mood. Friends always understand,&quot; Atienza added.</p><p>He then detailed his career as a TV personality, adding he has always wanted to be on TV.</p><p>Atienza also talked about suffering a stroke in 2010, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome in 2013.</p><p>&quot;It was on the morning of August 2013 that the motto of Ironman, &#x27;I Can,&#x27; cannot apply. How can I do anything in my power when I cannot even move my fingers or wiggle my toes. It was at that moment that it dawned on me, Ironman&#x27;s motto can never apply because I was totally powerless and His grace is all I needed. His grace is enough. All else is bonus,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;I finally got it. Not I can, but He can. All my life, Jesus was my best friend.
