Back in college nung estudyante pa lang ako sa Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, mayroon kaming play na ginawa. It&#x27;s a comedy play tungkol sa dalawang magkapatid na nagiging superhero at nagiging isa silang Badingger-Z. So this comic book is actually loosely inspired by that. So na-inspire ako at sa haba ng panahon parang wala pa akong nakikilalang Filipino na superhero na bida na miyembro ng LGBTQIA+,&quot; ani Florido.</p><p>Ayon kay Florido, ituturo ng &quot;Badingger-Z&quot; ang pagmamahal at pagtanggap sa sarili at ang aral na kahit sino ay maaring maging bayani o makatulong sa kapwa.</p><p>&quot;Kailangan mong tanggapin kung sino ka. At isipin mo rin na isinilang ka with a purpose at kahit ikaw, pwedeng-pwede ka maging superhero kahit sino pa man. Pwede kang maging bida. Pwede kang maging main character of your own story but in a good way. Pwede kang magtanggol ng mga tao. Pwede kang maging lawyer, pwede kang maging police. Pwede kang maging hero in whatever way possible,&quot; ani Florido. </p><p>Para kay Florido, mahalaga na magkaroon ng representasyon ang mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ sa panahon ngayon.</p><p>&quot;Personal stand ko ito. Kasi ako rin, bilang nagtatrabaho sa mainstream media, minsan I feel unfair sa members ng LGBTQIA+ na laging ang representation ng LGBTQIA+ ay sidekick or punchlines or pagpapatawa, hindi ba? Pero mga tao din naman tayo, normal na tao katulad ng kahit sino.
