I used to when I was young, but not at this age. I have other nice memories,&quot; she said in an interview on ANC&#x27;s &quot;Talkback&quot;.</p><p>&quot;You go through different phases in life, you feel that there are other moments in life that give you pleasure. Now, my granddaughter gives me pleasure,&quot; she added.</p><p>Moran said winning the Miss Universe title opened opportunities for her but she still worked hard to be where she is now.</p><p>&quot;You still have to make something of yourself, things don&#x27;t just happen to you,&quot; she said.</p><p>Moran recalled how she had difficulty doing her make-up during her pageant night in Athens, Greece since she could not trust anyone to do it for her.</p><p>She said she does not think that her answer in the question and answer portion was the reason for her victory and attributed it instead to her &quot;total projection.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I was confident. I was Miss Photogenic, and I was also the favorite of the press,&quot; she said. &quot; I think it could have been because I came from a country they had never heard of.&quot;</p><p>Today, Moran manages the day-to-day operations of Ballet Philippines as president and also volunteers at Habitat for Humanity, a non-government organization that helps the underprivileged build houses.</p>
