<p>MANILA — This new floral boutique doesn&#x27;t promise forever, but it does offer something relatively close to it.</p><p>A recent business venture called Te Amo Floristeria has been selling what is called &quot;preserved blooms.&quot;</p><p>&quot;It was really the product that made us stand out and made people go crazy about our products because it was so new to Filipinos and it’s been done outside the country but I think we were the ones who fully introduced it here in the market,&quot; said Andie Javelosa, co-founder and brand manager of Te Amo Floristeria, located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.</p><div><iframe allowtransparency="true" frameBorder="0" height="722" scrolling="no" src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fteamofloristeria%2Fposts%2F1246197518795109%3A0&amp;width=500" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" width="500"></iframe></div><p>Preserved blooms make flowers last longer than fresh ones.</p><p>Established just last year, Te Amo Floristeria is new in the floral industry.</p><p>&quot;There&#x27;s really a market for flowers here in the Philippines especially right now we&#x27;re promoting it as a part of lifestyle. So it’s not just flowers for big occasions. You can have it any day. And that&#x27;s what we promote, flowers should be a part of lifestyle,&quot; she said.</p><p>Before opening a brick-and-mortar shop, they took to social media to market their products.</p><p>&quot;Social media and everything online is really strong right now. Mostly everyone&#x27;s main tool of starting or getting their products out there. So for us it was such a really strong platform because we didn&#x27;t have our physical store yet,&quot; she said.</p><p>It was her business partner, CEO and founder Amy Peng who studied flower-arrangement techniques abroad. We are versatile. We don&#x27;t just cater to a certain age group but anybody can relate to flowers,&quot; she said.</p><p>In terms of price, Javelosa said they are more expensive than their competitors.</p><p>&quot;We are competitive somewhere also expensive because preserved flowers really take a lot of effort,&quot; she said.</p><p>Despite the emergence of competitors who imitate their designs and techniques, Te Amo Floristeria remains confident because they are the one of the pioneer luxury floral boutiques in Manila.</p>
