<p>MANILA – Want to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle? Take a look at the products you use in the shower. </p><p>Chances are, your shampoo, body wash, and other bath essentials come in plastic packaging. Plastic in itself is not a bad thing – but so much of it has ended up in the oceans, killing marine life in the process.</p><p>Fortunately, many personal care and beauty companies are slowly moving toward more sustainable options. </p><p>The latest is Unilever, which launched All Things Hair Refillery at three Ayala Malls (TriNoma, Glorietta, and Alabang Town Center) over the weekend. </p><p>The refilling station features the following shampoo and conditioner brands: Dove Straight and Silky Shampoo and Conditioner, Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, Sunsilk Smooth and Manageable Shampoo, and Cream Silk Standout Straight Conditioner.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/news/03/27/refillery.jpg"/><figcaption>All Things Hair Refillery. <em>Allthingshair.com</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>Customers who are unable to bring old bottles that match the shampoo and conditioner variants can buy recyclable containers at the Refillery for P10. Unilever is also accepting clean and dry plastic bottles and sachets – even from other brands – for upcycling.</p><p>The Refillery will be available until April 14, but many consumers have been urging Unilever to expand to other parts of the country and make it a permanent offering. </p><p>Check out the other brands that are helping save the environment, one shower at a time:</p><div><strong>MESSY BESSY</strong></div><p>This social enterprise is known for its natural and non-toxic products made by at-risk youth and for setting up refilling stations to reduce plastic waste.</p><div personal care items. </p><p>Check out their liquid soaps, hair fresheners, massage oils, and smelling salts, which are all made of natural ingredients and come in earth-friendly
