BACLAYON, Bohol - Almost a month after opening its doors to the public since its restoration, tourists and locals flocked to the Immaculate Concepcion Parish in Bohol as part of their Visita Iglesia.

Unlike last year when the Baclayon Church first opened its doors to tourists for the Holy Week since the deadly quake, visitors saw the inside of the completely restored church.

As per tradition, the images of the church's museum were displayed for the public to see inside the church.

It took the National Historical Commission of the Philippines about 4 years and 4 months to restore the church, among the oldest in Asia, after it was reduced to rubble when a 7.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the island province in 2013.
