Burgos.</p><p>As with most food parks, life at The Pallet begins after the sun sets as it only has an al-fresco dining area. There are currently 10 locators with two more opening soon. For Poblacion where parking is always a problem, The Pallet has four slots right at the side. Parking at nearby malls is also an option with the food park being a five-minute walk away from Makati Avenue.</p><p>“We knew we wanted the place to be clad in wooden pallets as they are very easy on the eyes. But it is also actually a play on words. PALATE – a gastronomical tour for the citizens of the world. A place where palate is king. PALETTE - a blank canvas to the culinary entrepreneurial artist with a palette and a brush. PALLET – a cozy respite from the hustle and bustle of Makati CBD using palochina pallets as the soothing background. The branch at The Pallet has become a go-to for Poblacion foodies who are looking for their shawarma and kebab fix.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Debuting at The Pallet is Uncle Moe’s Chinese brother, Uncle Roast. Come here for the Beef Pares that’s a standout in its menu of noodles, rice, soy chicken, and asado pork.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Ramen Attack has ramen at par with high-end ramen shops in the metro. The noodles remain firm even after some time soaking in the spicy tantanmen broth. The Black Garlic ramen is also one of their specialties.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Asian Flavors takes a slice of the Singapore hawker centers and brings it to The Pallet. Its char kway teo, flat rice noodles with soy and spices, is a safe bet for people who are not into spice. For those who do, Asian Flavors has tom yum and laksa.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Antojitos is The Pallet’s Mexican restaurant, taking diners south of the US border with quesadillas, burritos, and soft tacos.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Having affordable healthy meals may seem like an oxymoron, but not at Heath. The standout is the TLC, a burger with a vegetarian mycoprotein patty that comes close to the taste and texture of beef. At Heath, this is P170 with fries. Try out the Black Angus Burger with activated charcoal sourdough buns and a lean patty.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>What would a Filipino food park be without ihaw-ihaw? Mang Jose has street food favorites like pork and chicken barbecue, isaw, and rice.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Creamco Creamery is the go-to stall for dessert featuring ice-cream made on the spot on super cold griddles.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Head on to the second floor to get drinks and refreshments at Inum. Besides soda, water, and beer. The friendly bartenders make the Annette and the Bennii, Inum’s signature cocktails, upon request.</p></div></div></div><p>The Pallet is located at the corner of Jacobo St., and Doña Carmen St. in Poblaction. Operating hours are from 6 p.m. to 12 mdinight from Tuesday to Thursday, 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. from Friday to Saturday, and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays.</p>
