SUBIC, Zambales - A playground floating on the water, billed as the biggest of its kind in Asia, opened here on Saturday, promising tourists a bouncing good time this summer.

Guests at "The Inflatable Island" can jump, climb, and crawl, all while trying to maintain their balance, as waves rock the floating structure.

"We were given the chance to feel what it's like to join obstacle course competitions on TV. It's fun to pretend like we're contestants from Wipeout or American Ninja," park visitor Jane Reyes, told ABS-CBN News.

"We're planning to expand so Visayas and Mindanao, wait lang (just wait). We're coming as soon as possible, as soon as makita na namin na stable na ito (as soon as this is stable)," said the park's part owner, Regine Tecson.

At 3,420 square meters, "The Inflatable Island" is roughly the size of eight basketball courts and was imported from China.

Guests have the option to pay P799 for two hours of playtime, P1,099 for four hours, or P1,499 for eight hours. Only 300 people are allowed inside at a time to avoid overcrowding.

While there are no age restrictions, guests should be at least three feet tall to enjoy the floating park. Children between 3 and 4 feet should be supervised by an adult.

Guests are prohibited from bringing in or wearing sharp objects, including zippers to avoid damaging the inflatables. They are also required to wear life jackets.

A Bali-inspired beach lounge serves as both lounging and dining areas. Guests can't bring food inside the resort as concessionaires there sell rice meals, sandwiches, pizza, and drinks.
