MANILA (UPDATED) -- You can now add these to your list of go-to restaurants during the enhanced community quarantine.

In separate announcements, Shakey's and Max's Group said they have reopened select branches in the country for takeout and delivery.

"Many of our loyal guests have asked us to reopen," Shakey's said in a statement posted on its website. "Safe sourcing of food is one of the biggest concerns all homes face during this quarantine. Many do not have the ability to go out of their homes to source food, and they see delivery as the safest option."

"Others are looking for comfort and normalcy by sharing a good meal with their families," it added.

Shakey's initially reopened restaurants in Metro Manila, followed by provincial branches. The pizza chain advised customers to check daily updates on the store list on its website.

Max's Group, meanwhile, assured that the reopening of its select restaurants complies with health standards amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The group houses the brands Max's Restaurant, Pancake House, Yellow Cab, Sizzlin' Steak, Teriyaki Boy, and Dencio's.

"As we resume operations, we ask that you bear with us as we try to deliver your orders while ensuring the safety of our teams," it said in a Facebook post, which also provided links to the list of restaurants that have reopened for takeout and delivery.

"We're not going to be perfect, we won't have all your favorites, but we will always strive to be better, and do right by our teams, our partners, our customers, and our communities," it added.

In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News on Monday, Max's Group said its operations will continue throughout Holy Week.

The master franchise holder of Krispy Kreme in the Philippines said the donut chain will resume delivery on April 13, with pre-orders to open on April 7.
