<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/04/10/fpj-coco-041017.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">&quot;Ang Probinsyano&quot; star Coco Martin and the late Fernando Poe Jr. are featured in PhilRice FutureRice Program&#x27;s rice paddy art in Nueva Ecija. <cite>Handout photo</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA -- The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) launched a new design for its FutureRice Program, this time featuring two generations of &quot;Ang Probinsyano&quot; stars in its rice paddy art.</p><p>The faces of actors Coco Martin and Fernando Poe Jr. can be seen on the farm located in the PhilRice&#x27;s central experiment station in Maligaya, Science City of Munoz.</p><p>PhilRice used the Korean variety purple rice for the faces, which provides a visual contrast to the regular green-leafed variety.</p><p>The team also used 3D anamorphosis principle, which makes the artwork appear normal only when viewed from a certain angle.</p><p>In a statement, PhilRice said the rice paddy art project aims to increase the awareness of netizens and millennials on rice farming and agriculture.</p><p>Before the two actors, the images of hero Jose Rizal, President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo have also been featured in previous years.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/trending/09/23/16/look-duterte-robredo-as-rice-paddy-art">LOOK: Duterte, Robredo as rice paddy art</a></li></ul><p>The five-hectare farm also showcases clean energy facilities, drone technology, advanced farm machines, and an experimental field that demonstrates hybrid, inbred, and traditional rice varieties. </p><p>The image is available for viewing until May 14.
