MANILA -- Google celebrates one of the Philippines&#x27; most prominent composer and lyricist, Levi Celerio, with a special doodle. <div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/news/04/30/043018_levi.jpg"/></figure></div>Born on April 30, 1910, this year marks what could have been Celerio&#x27;s 108th birthday.While he wrote the lyrics for more than 4,000 Filipino folk songs and love songs, Celerio is perhaps best known for playing music using leaves.This talent has earned him an entry in the Guiness Book of World Records.In 1997, Celerio was named National Artist for Music and Literature by then-President Fidel V. Ramos for his contributions to Philippine music.He died on April 2, 2002 at the age of 91.
