Pero karamihan sa mga kandidata ay ipinakita ang mga produkto ng agrikultura ng kanya-kanyang lugar.Dahil ika nga ay &quot;home court,&quot; mas lumakas ang cheer ng nga manonood mula sa Eastern Visayas, gaya na lang ng kandidata mula sa Southern Leyte na gawa ng magkapatid na local designers na sina Nick at Daniel Guarino. Inirampa rin ng kandidata mula sa Northern Samar ang costume na inspired mula sa isang alamat, ang dyosang si Berbenota na pinaniniwalaang nagproprotekta ng isla ng Biri na kilala dahil sa magagandang rock formation.Pero mas malakas ang cheer ng mga manoood para sa kandidata ng Eastern Samar na si Airissh Ramos na graceful na sumasayaw-sayaw habang inirarampa ang kanyang national costume na gawa sa ipinagmamalaki ng Region 8 na banig na tikog. Ipinapakita sa disenyo ng kanyang costume ang harmony ng mga palayan, kabundukan, at mga anyong tubig ng Eastern Samar.Maituturing na proud moment para sa mga taga-Eastern Samar na supporters na hindi magkamayaw nang itinanghal siyang panalo sa Best in National Costume, lalo pa at gawa din ng mga taga-Eastern Samar ang kanyang kasuotan.&quot;I was so surprised that I won the Best in National Costume but overall, I just enjoyed the whole show and just put on a great show for the people that made my national costume. It&#x27;s John Hubert, a Waraynon also, and of course it was hand-sewn by high school students of Oras, Eastern Samar,&quot; ani Ramos.Nakuha naman ng kandidata mula Benguet na si Joemay Leo ang second place, habang third place naman si Kimberly Escartin ng Southern Leyte.Ang bawat isa sa kanila nakatanggap ng tig-P50,000.&quot;I&#x27;m so thankful because one of my purpose na mag-join dito is to really give spotlight to my province. Kaya to be able to show that kind of... kahit gaano kabigat &#x27;yung back dress ko, kinaya ko po,&quot; ani Lao.Bukod sa Best in National Costume, si Ramos din ang napiling Tingog ng Filipina para sa Visayas. Nakuha naman ng kandidata mula sa Baguio ang Tingog ng Filipina para sa Luzon, habang si Miss Agusan del Norte naman para sa Mindanao.Silang tatlo ay pare-parehong nakatanggap ng tig-P100,000.

Rumampa ang 38 kandidata ng Miss Universe Philippines sa HRDC Theatre ng Leyte Normal University sa Tacloban City suot ang kanilang national costume.
