<p>MANILA -- Jo Koy has a new show, and it will premiere globally on Netflix this June.</p><p>In a statement, Netflix said &quot;Jo Koy: In His Elements&quot; celebrates the comedian&#x27;s Filipino-American heritage while highlighting the culture of Manila.</p><p>Set for a June 12 release, the show will also showcase other Filipino-American performers such as breakdancer Ronnie, Grammy-winning producer !llmind, singer-songwriter Inigo Pascual, and comedians Andrew Lopez, Joey Guila, and Andrew Orolfo.</p><p>On Friday, Jo Koy shared the story behind his third Netflix show. </p><p>&quot;I need to show people where my mom&#x27;s from, and I had this crazy idea. I was like, let me bring a bunch of my friends that are Filipino, that live in America, that haven&#x27;t even been back to the Philippines. Let&#x27;s show them how beautiful the country is, let&#x27;s show them how beautiful the people are, and let&#x27;s just do a show,&quot; he said in a video posted on his Facebook page.</p><p>&quot;Everything about this special is Filipino -- the cameraman, the people in the audience, the people that own the venue,&quot; he added. &quot;Let&#x27;s embrace our culture and have a great time.
