‘Right timing’: DJ Chacha, partner of 6 years finally get married

MANILA — Radio star Czarina Balba, popularly known as DJ Chacha of MOR 101.9, finally tied the knot with her partner of six years, Mike Guevarra, on Thursday.

The long-time couple exchanged vows at Fernwood Gardens Tagaytay in a ceremony that gathered family, friends, and colleagues from showbiz.

Photos of the wedding were shared online by Nice Print, one of the official videographers of the event.

DJ Chacha, in a past interview, credited Guevarra as a hands-on father to her daughter from a previous relationship. Sab, she shared, would even write Guevarra’s surname as her own on her test papers.

“Importante ‘yan sa ‘kin,” she said at the time, referring to the close relationship of Guevarra with her daughter. “I’m sure ‘yung mga single mothers alam nila ‘yon, kasi mahirap makahanap ng hindi lang ikaw ‘yung mamahalin, pati ‘yung anak mo.”

“Mabait talaga si Lord. Binibigay talaga niya sa ‘yo kapag alam niya na right timing na,” DJ Chacha said.
