<p>MANILA -- The Department of Tourism (DOT) has released guidelines for its accredited restaurants as the Philippines slowly transitions to the &quot;new normal&quot; brought about by the novel coronavirus.</p><p>In a post on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, the agency said it is expecting DOT-accredited establishments to &quot;observe more stringent sanitation, screening, and physical distancing procedures.&quot;</p><p>Under the new guidelines, restaurants should provide disinfectant mats, modify seating plans to allow one-meter physical distancing, put up signs on proper hygiene, and remove self-service food and beverage stations.</p><p>Restaurant owners should also designate zones for pickup or takeout, place floor markers on queue lines, properly packing food and beverages, and use contactless payment methods or add small trays for cash to avoid contamination.</p><p>Specific guidelines are likewise given to employees and customers, as well as for disinfection and sanitation procedures, restaurant management, and delivery services.</p><p>Read DOT&#x27;s rules for accredited restaurants below:</p><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/DepartmentOfTourism/posts/3686321368061375" data-width="auto"> </div>
