This hotel unveils luxury villas priced at P500K a night

Handout</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA -- For P500,000 a night, guests can enjoy a 1,400 square-meter villa that has five bedrooms, bathrooms with bathtubs, kitchen, 16-seater dining room with a bar, gym, spa with sauna, entertainment room, and sizeable outdoor space with a pool and jet tub.Okada Manila just unveiled its most luxurious room offering something that is definitely fit for a king. This is the integrated resort complex&#x27;s first three of its five planned villas.Located on the third floor of the Pearl Wing, the villas are Okada Manila&#x27;s most expensive rooms. Director for sales and marketing Julius Santos clarified that the P500,000 rate is an introductory price because the published rate is at a much higher P800,000 on weekdays and P1 million on weekends.“It comes down to supply and demand eventually, whether there&#x27;s a huge demand and we&#x27;re hoping there will be. So the prices will increase proportionately,” he said during the unveiling party.And surprisingly after initially offering it a month ago, several guests have already stayed at the lavish villas. One guest even stayed for 18 days!Although Santos said that the villas are not just for the casino&#x27;s high rollers, it&#x27;s also for guests who want to experience a stay.“If you have P500,000 I&#x27;d love to have you here. We&#x27;re an integrated resort with a huge casino component. What happens a lot of times, the casinos have high rollers, if they want to stay at the villa they talk to the casino and the casino books directly with us. And then there are people who just book the villa because they just want to be in the villa. First come first serve,” he explained.The three villas are named after popular Philippine islands — Cebu, El Nido, and Coron.<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/life/06/22/20190622-okada2.jpg"/><figcaption>Master&#x27;s bedroom. The color palette is on the bright earth tones side with yellows, oranges, and copper dominating the whole look. There&#x27;s also a lot of marble used in the flooring and bathrooms, mostly white and pink marble varieties.The beds have huge padded headboards, white cabinets with crystal handles, upholstered bed benches, and the floor is covered with a wall-to-wall chocolate brown carpet with orange petal prints.Santos said that most of the materials and furniture used in the hotel are imported, including those in the new villas.The rooms also come with a 24-hour butler service, private chef, a DigiValet system that uses iPad tablets that control the room&#x27;s devices, and Roberto Cavalli toiletries. All beds are fitted with with Rivolta Carminiagni linens.“Butler is at your service. They will unpack for you, schedule meetings for you, they&#x27;ll call the chefs and work on special menus. Handout</figcaption></figure></div>The villas are also designed for private events and celebrations. The size is perfect for small gatherings like dinner parties.“It depends on what you want to do. Twenty-four hours is either short or long. You can dine in and have friends over for lunch, you can have a private party, you can have a mini-concert in the room if you so desire,” he said.But for that price tag, one would expect a few freebies here and there. However, all other services and amenities are for an additional charge like the mini bar, spa services, and even breakfast that is usually a basic inclusion for a hotel stay.“It&#x27;s not about price. I&#x27;ve been in the industry for 37 years, hoteliers can say we have the most expensive suite. Well that doesn&#x27;t matter if nobody pays for it. I think our villas are priced competitively for the size that they&#x27;re getting,” Santos explained.Okada Manila has more suites in the pipeline, according to Santos. In fact, this is not the end of the suites we&#x27;re building because we are building more suites on the main tower that are probably just as big,” he said. Aside from the luxurious accommodations, what the hotel promises is the privacy of its guests. Whoever the guest may be, privacy is an important aspect in their service.“I think what&#x27;s important is we protect the privacy of the guest. Guest that stay at villas like this will have request that we may think are strange but for them it&#x27;s pretty normal,” he said.
