MANILA – Enchong Dee feels elated that he was able to participate in the recent attempt of the Philippines to break the Guinness world record for the largest swimming lesson in a single venue.

A competitive swimmer himself since his school days, Dee said it was fulfilling to have taken part in teaching over 1,800 Filipino kids basic swimming skills and water safety.

The event was held in Aqua Planet in Clark, Pampanga, which also released a statement regarding the new record made.

Aqua Planet said “this exceeds the existing Guinness World Record set by Florida, USA, with 1,308 participants.”
