Dati mayor ko siya, ngayon president ko na,&quot; he beamed.Descallar joins Lulu Coching Rodriguez, Fernando Amorsolo, Galo Ocampo, Antonio Garcia Llamas, Romeo Enriquez and Policarpio Caparas as among esteemed artists to create presidential portraits.Descallar is part of a group of visual artists called &#x27;Tabula Rasa Art Group Unlimited&#x27; commissioned to create a portrait of the president.Though only Descallar&#x27;s was chosen, the artists from Davao are still hopeful their artworks will catapult Mindanao into the art scene.
