MANILA – The web series of model-host Jessica Bunevacz was recently recognized in the United States.

“The Polished Woman” won a bronze award in the 2019 Telly Awards under the category of best scripted online web series, along with 10 other programs.

There were also four silver award winners in the said category.

“The Polished Woman,” which airs every Monday at LA Talk Radio, tackles topics ranging from fashion and lifestyle to relationships and sexual abuse.

It was cited by Telly Awards managing director Sabrina Dridje “for pushing the boundaries for video and television innovation and creativity at a time when the industry is rapidly changing.”

“‘Polished Woman’ is really my baby,” said Bunevacz. “It is an ideology that I created to express that I am more than my past. Everything is possible in resilience and faith.”

“Max (Tucci) and I put our all into creating conscious content that will help inspire, motivate, and encourage women to be the best version of themselves,” she added, referring to her show’s director-producer, Max Tucci.

“We are grateful to all the judges for acknowledging our work.”

Bunevacz hopes to pass on her life lessons not only to her audience but also to Breanna, her daughter with athlete-businessman David Bunevacz.

“I want her to be a good example to her peers, to the youth who follow her,” she said of her daughter, who is into modeling.

Meanwhile, Bunevacz is working on her second book, titled “Polished Woman Journal,” where she shares how she overcame depression and anxiety.

“Writing this book was sort of a catharsis for me. It will be a 52-week guide to introspection, prayer, and meditation,” she said.
