Main goal is to promote Iloilo and make waves,” he said.The three-time Tony-winning Broadway producer is a native of Brgy. Calumpang, Iloilo City. He also believes Iloilo City has more room for improvement in the fields of film, art and fashion. Tolentino envisions that someday, Iloilo could also organize gatherings such as fashion shows, art exhibits, concerts and venues for filmmaking.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/life/11/02/16/making-broadway-more-accessible-to-pinoys">READ: Making Broadway more accessible to Pinoys</a></li></ul>“I always dreamed this town can compete Manila and Cebu. We are almost there,” he said, adding that he knows a lot of fashion designers in Iloilo and could even recognize some of their pieces abroad. Tolentino, who is now considered as an icon for his inspiring story, encouraged newcomers in the industry to keep the faith.“It won’t kill you to be nice. Share your experience and share your success. If you have a good heart be true and share,” Tolentino said.
